Representing buyers only and never sellers
Calvin Kim is an “Exclusive Buyer’s Agent”, meaning that he only represents buyers and never sellers. Why does that matter, you ask? It matters because in real estate, the buyer assumes all of the risk while the seller walks away from the property, usually with some money in their pocket. That’s why it’s crucial to have someone in your corner and your corner alone when purchasing a home.
With A degree in Psychology and Real Estate, Calvin’s keen eye for detail and negotiation experience has helped all types of buyers. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a house flipper, Calvin can assist you in the purchase of single family home, townhome, for sale by owner, or in the building of a new home.
If you’re looking to buy a home in the Greater Houston area, Calvin will share his expertise and market knowledge in an honest and straightforward manner. He also speaks fluent Korean and conversational Spanish.
With HelpUBuy America, buyers can take advantage of the flat-fee program allowing buyers to receive rebates. Call Calvin to ask for more details.
What can I say about Calvin? My experience working with Calvin was excellent from beginning to end. As a first time homebuyer, I was skeptical about using the services of an exclusive buyer’s agent because I felt like I knew what I wanted in a new home and could figure out the details myself. I challenged Calvin, asking, “Why should I go with you and your services?” “Because I’m the best and I know the home buying process,” he said. Then he proceeded to show me the meaning of these words. We looked at no less than 70 properties in the hot summer months, with Calvin keeping track of every property we looked at and my many comments and likes/dislikes. He intuitively honed in on my preferences and pulled new properties for me to look at each week. He handled every step of the process, anticipating every pitfall of the contract, offer, and closing processes, and he was always available to me to answer my questions and make sure I didn’t miss any deadlines. I certainly underestimated the amount of tedium involved in the home buying process and was quickly pleased with my decision to go with Calvin’s services. He doggedly negotiated contract terms on my behalf delivering an incredible deal on my new home, extracting many concessions from the seller. Even today, 3 months after closing, Calvin is as responsive as ever to my questions. I’m grateful, as I know I am not the easiest guy to work with. Using a buyer’s agent like Calvin is truly white-glove service. I can highly recommend using Calvin for your home buying services, especially if you value your time. Respectful, knowledgable, responsive, committed, and with a clean car to boot…go with Calvin, you will not regret it.
I was very fortunate to have Calvin as my realtor. He is without a doubt the best realtor that you can have. I had chances to compare my experience with Calvin to my friends/colleagues' experiences with their realtors and it was clear to me that Calvin beats the competition in terms of every aspect, hands down. He truly cares that you are buying your "dream home." Calvin's services exceeds all expectations. He is accessible around the clock 7 days a week. It's as if he never goes to sleep. He is very responsive and accommodates your schedule (even on very short notices e.g. 30 minutes). Calvin has extensive knowledge about the market and house structures. He walks around and inspects the houses with you as if you he were the one buying the house. He is very talented in negotiations--aggressive but also pragmatic. He was consistently passionate about trying to find the perfect house for me during the two years I was looking for a house. It was a great pleasure to work with him. In short, Calvin Kim is exceptional. If you want a realtor that always gives you his full attention and makes you feel like you are his only client then go with Calvin.
